All the way across the board, our most popular sizes are 3 inch, 3.5 inch, and 4 inch.
Fire Patches that include, or are in the shape of Maltese crosses:
RANGE: 3.5″ – 5″
MOST COMMON: 4.5″
Police Uniform Patches:
RANGE: 3″ – 4.5″
MOST COMMON: 3.5″
Military Patches
RANGE: 3.5″ – 4.5″
MOST COMMON: 4″
Motorcycle / Biker Back Patches:
RANGE: 10″-16″
MOST COMMON: 12″
Sports Patches:
RANGE: 2″ – 6″
MOST COMMON: 3″
Scouting:
RANGE: 1.5″ – 6″
MOST COMMON: 3″
Business/Company logos with slogan:
RANGE: 3″ – 8″
MOST COMMON: 3.5″

This is a great idea for informing customers about the size(s) of patches based on the type of patch they are getting. I think it will also attract more customers for you. I wonder if it would be good to also explain that the amount of detail a patch has also is effected by the size of the patch they are asking for-but put in general terms like you did above?
